Logos Newspaper
UIW’s Student-Run Newspaper
Founded in 1935, The Logos is UIW’s award-winning student newspaper. For more than 85 years, the student newspaper has been covering UIW’s most significant developments and news, seeing the University through its many changes over the decades and serving as an important record of history.
Student reporters and opinion writers are the principal voice of the newspaper, while faculty, administrators and other community members have often been invited to share their perspectives and news. The Logos has won numerous awards for journalism excellence and is always encouraging students to join.
The Logos is published late August, late September, late October and early December during the fall and mid-February, late March and late April or early May during the spring. Much like a large-circulation newspaper, The Logos offers advertisements for purchase.
